My Design Process
Core-Engagement: Artistically Pleasing Platformer

Although this is an ordinary platformer with ordinary mechanics, it has engaging background art that complements with the narrative of the game, enabling the player to feel the progression.

Contribution
​
In this game project, I was in charge of leading the technical side of the game, coding the main mechanics and interactions. Prior to the prototype phrase, I also contributed to the ideation part where I brainstormed with the team about the game's concept and theme, it's main and sub mechanics, including the different obstacles/interactions.

Production Phrase
​
In the course of 13 weeks, we have three different milestones/phrases where we have to showcase our process and get evaluated.
​
We have to go through the Alpha Stage first, where our main mechanics are up, followed by the Beta Stage, where most of the placeholders are done and mechanics are up and running.
The final stage is where the entire game is polished and ready for submission.
